Yoga is for everyBODY. Anyone can do yoga, and our corporate yoga classes are tailored to meet the needs of every individual. In addition to all of the physical benefits of yoga, students learn the tools to cope with physical and mental stress on a daily basis. Deep breathing, stretching, and relaxation techniques alone will have your employees leaving the class feeling physically and mentally invigorated and refreshed.
Classes range from 30-60 minutes and can take place early morning, during lunch or after work. Class times and lengths will be tailored to your company’s specific needs.
All your company needs to do is provide a quiet space with as little distraction as possible. A conference/meeting room is often a good location as long as the tables and chairs can be moved aside for class. We will provide music and yoga mats.
At HBO in New York, employee health and fitness director Bill Boyle can't keep pace with the demand for yoga classes. He recently added a third class to the weekly schedule and would add more if he had room. Boyle attributes the boom in yoga at HBO to rising levels of workplace stress. "Everybody is under more stress now, and has to perform better, and work more hours per day. Yoga gives them a chance to take it all in stride." Boyle is convinced that the investment HBO is making to subsidize yoga classes for employees is well worth it. "The deep breathing and relaxation employees get from yoga help them to be more focused and less anxious. When they go back to work, they're in a position to make better decisions. You don't want people making business decisions when they're stressed."
